Visual Fx for games is something that I really am interested. Even thought I'm not an expert, I'm always looking to sharpen up my skills on every opportunity that I have. On this post I'd like to share a few examples of visual FX that I did for the indie projects that I helped to create.
This one was a 3 hour test that I did using the theme " Mandala" for VFX.

Some "Space Game" VFX that I did a couple years ago.
I have just update my portfolio with some props and scenes that I did for the indie game Karaski:What Goes Up.... http://www.karaski.com. Check it out!
For the past 5 months I've been doing the assets overhaul for "Karaski:What Goes Up" An adventure detective game by Unbound Creations.
As the only 3D artist, I was responsible for recreating the models and textures for all of the assets in the game, from a simple small flower vase to the mains characters. I'm still organizing all of the assets and renders and I'll post some new stuff in a near future. Please consider checking the game HERE for more information.
I've been modeling and texturing space assets for GalaCollider since April, now they are about to launch a Kickstarter campaign. If you could share this link....
.... on your facebook account or twitter would help us a lot!
A few space ships that I did for this project...
I'm also modeling(?) and texturing a few of the celestial bodies that you'll find in game.
I really like this low poly art style, so for this month theme I tried to test my skills with this kind of render.
Also, going a little bit further on this style, I did this little self portrait piece. Based on "Dixie Flatline" of Neuromancer, I did this representation of a triangulated A.I.
This is my entry for Unity Community Art Challenge - April 2015 - Chest Of Wonders. The Dwarven Chest of Infinite Cold Ale. I couldnt think about a better loot than LOTS OF BEER! =D
Also, I got the second place on the contest, pretty cool =]
Be sure to check out the other entries.
After 3 years of indie projects here and there, I'm slowly getting back to do some personal stuff!
I really like zbrush, and I cant stay away from the software much time, hope it become an habit!
So I have been sculpting a lot, trying to find myself a nice cartoonish style. Some studies so far...
Also, I'm working part time on a new indie project! Truly excited about this one, gonna post some news soon.
I also decided to be a part of this month Unity Commynity Art Challenge, the theme for this month is "Chest of Wonders" and I'll be doing a "Dwarven Chest of Infinite Ale".
